Position Tracking

Online Map

The Position Tracking feature in ODM allows the system administrator to track the walking path of mobile users via the GPS or RFID scanning location. The feature is designed to enable system administrator to analyze the effectiveness of data collection route for each inspection checklist or task.
 
In order to track the walking path, just input the following search criteria:
    1. Select the date range
    2. Select the tracking source, which is either based on the historical GPS location or scanned RFID location
    3. Select the option to track either by specific user name or device name
    4. Finally, please input a text and search for the user or device name
The walking path color indicates the task that the user had performed and the animated flow represents the direction of the walking path. You may mouse over the walking path to retrieve the task information such as the task name, time duration required to complete the task, user who logged the data and which device the user has used. Besides, you may check out the start and end time for the task, by just mouse over the start / end point.
 
Note: The “grey” color is used to indicate walking path where no task was performed at that time.

 

Offline Map / Floor Plan

The position tracking feature in ODM supports offline map where user can upload their up-to-scale floor plan into the system. This is very useful as most of the user’s plant map is not available in details on the online map.
